deal thy bread to the hungry

Taken in the South Luangwa Valley last year as we visited the Bisa tribe for the second time - this little boy was sick and dealing with malnutrition. Not realizing his own health condition and likely never having traveled more than a few kilometers from home - this little boy remains quite happy despite the "unfair" circumstances of his life.
Isaiah speaks of dealing bread to the hungry and covering the naked (Isa 58:7) - I realize "social" helps are not the primary function of a missionary, but honestly - how dwelleth the love of God in me if I am not moved to action by such a child.

Matthew 25:34-40 - taking care of the physical needs of that sweet child is DEFINATELY missionary work. What is evangelism without compassion?
