III John 1:6

Visited Fibungu West Bible Baptist Church this last Sunday. The pastor of the church (Luke Chimbanyama) is one of our recent Bible Institute graduates. It is always exciting to see the people you invest in doing well and succeeding in the gospel ministry.
The church is growing! They had 45 children for Sunday School and 65 adults for the main service. The current building they are in has no walls and does not hold up well during the rainy season. The pastor has initiated a building project in order to house the people more properly. So far, the brick wills are up to the window level and plans to be completed should be some time in July!I was asked to preach a message on Spiritual Growth. I chose 2 Peter 1 as a text. Spent most of the time talking about the "exceeding great and precious promises". The message was well received as we saw the Spirit moving in the hearts of the people!
Continue to pray for this church and the pastor as they seek to walk by Biblical faith and shed the trappings of the old man!
